The Bloomfield Central School District is seeking a Spanish Teacher 

  • Teach communicative Spanish courses (Middle School / High School) aligned with the NYS Learning Standards 

  • Maintain an engaging, immersive target language environment.

Differentiation & Assessment

  • Develop differentiated lesson plans and assessments to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Utilize both formative and summative data to assess student growth across interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational communication modes.

Collaboration & School Culture

  • Participate actively in curriculum design, common assessments, and instructional best practices.

  • Maintain ongoing, positive communication with parents, guardians, and support staff regarding student progress and well-being.

Substitute Teachers- 2026-2027 School Year

Bloomfield Schools is seeking reliable and conscientious daily substitute teachers for both the elementary and secondary schools. Responsibilities include, implementing daily lesson plans; developing a rapport with students that fosters academic engagement and appropriate behavior.  Prior teaching experience is not required.

 

$135 per day Non-Certified, $145 per day Certified
