The Bloomfield Central School District is seeking a Spanish Teacher
Teach communicative Spanish courses (Middle School / High School) aligned with the NYS Learning Standards
Maintain an engaging, immersive target language environment.
Develop differentiated lesson plans and assessments to meet the needs of all learners.
Utilize both formative and summative data to assess student growth across interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational communication modes.
Participate actively in curriculum design, common assessments, and instructional best practices.
Maintain ongoing, positive communication with parents, guardians, and support staff regarding student progress and well-being.
NYS Certification in Spanish (Grades 7–12) required (or eligible for certification).
Demonstrated fluency in written and spoken Spanish and English.
Familiarity with modern instructional technology (e.g., Google Classroom, Canvas, interactive learning tools).
